Deena Larsen, who is from the US, and was a pioneer of digital literature, openly admits her hopeless addiction to complex, multilinear literature. Her early works are available from Eastgate Systems (Marble Springs explores a 19th century gold rush town and Samplers — which was featured in the New South Wales Board of Education curriculum in 2000 — provides nine wickedly structured short stories). Deena is author of over two dozen web publications, ranging from short kanji poems to complex novels. She provides workshops, hosts chats, and serves on the Electronic Literature Organisation and trAce boards in a blatant attempt to hook more addicts to this new genre.
