Biography - Jim Andrews

Jim Andrews has published http://vispo.com since 1995. It is the centre of his artistic output as a Web/net.artist, programmer, visual poet, essayist, mathematician, and audio guy. He also started and moderates the http://webartery.com and Director_Art email lists. He earned a degree in English and Mathematics from the University of Victoria in Canada in 1983, and was later a fourth-year dropout from the Mathematics/Computer Science program. At the time of publication, he was/is Artist in Residence at The Centre for Creative Communications in Toronto, Canada. He is a full-time digital artist. Enigma n2 is a recent piece that continues his exploration of how meaning can be constructed by poets in new media. It is also a continuation of his explorations in synchronization.
